I just feel like writing right now. A lot of questions came into my mind the last few days. Questions about the present, questions about the future and how we all could use our time so much better.
We live from day to day with heads much fuller than our hearts, trying to fill our houses and our wallets more than we fill our souls. And while observing that, it leads to more and more questions. What are we doing that for? What is really important? Am I important? What matters most to me? And why don’t we just pursue our dreams, instead of being the puppet of greedy creatures and dark establishments.
And looking at myself now, as well as looking back at all those years, memories, duties and challenges… I see myself coming from a place of light, going into deepest darkness and escaping, happily, still struggling, but alright with my decisions and content in my heart, going further into the future where real meaning, light and love is waiting for me.
The name Essena O’Neill and her story can be read on countless sites at the moment. She not only made a very brave decision, she also inspires thousands of people right in this second with her story and her radical change.
Change can be so liberating, but most people are scared and shy away from it as soon as they only hear the word. We all can change ourselves, change our jobs, change our habits and even change the future. We just have to remind ourselves day after day that we matter. And if we as people, human bodies with a brain, a heart and a soul matter, so do our actions, thoughts and words we put out there in this dark cold place called earth – our home.
We’re not stuck in a situation that seems impossible to escape from, like a job we hate, overweight, or no money in the bank. Look deep inside you, find that voice that is crying out for you and listen closely to what it says. Don’t give up if you cannot find that voice immediately within yourself. Even the ability of hearing it is a result of change. Change within our deepest self.
Go slowly, but go! Change and don’t look back! Smile and be brave and keep moving towards all the good that is waiting for you out there. We’re not owned by anybody, nor are we in chains.
We are free, we are now. Let’s begin to play the music of our hearts.
